Mistletoe Marketplace, the largest charity fund-raising event in Mississippi, is November 3-6, and the Junior League of Jackson is in its 30th year of hosting it.  The shopping extravaganza is the largest of its kind in the Southeast, showcasing  160 merchants and attracting more than 35,000 shoppers each year. The long term success of this event has allowed the Junior League of Jackson to return more than $12 million back to the community.

The Junior League of Jackson has been making positive change in the greater Jackson community for 70 years. Throughout their 70 year history, many dramatic changes have occurred in the roles and responsibilities of women; but voluntarism has remained the center of the League’s mission. Through their training and service, women are uniquely prepared to lead in nonprofit agencies, businesses and other volunteer organizations. Today, more than 900 Active and Provisional members and 1,200 Sustaining members maintain a strong legacy, continuing to make positive change in the greater Jackson community.
