Juniker Jewelry Company has built a solid reputation over the past sixty years as knowledgeable jewelers with an enormous selection of exquisite jewelry backed by a fierce commitment to customer satisfaction. Juniker Jewelry offers customers over 150 combined years experience in the jewelry industry and an extensive collection of rings, earrings, necklaces, pearls, gold, platinum, watches, antique platinum reproductions from our Mississippi Heritage Collection, gifts for all occasions and more. In addition, Juniker Jewelry specializes in one of the largest collections of fine jewelry, large diamonds, colored gemstones, antique reproductions and authentic antique jewelry and estate jewelry in the South.

John Juniker founded Juniker Jewelry in 1944 as a small family business. During the first 40 years of business, Juniker Jewelry served its customers from five different locations on Capitol Street in downtown Jackson, Mississippi. In the early years, John Juniker trained his nephew, Ted Ravenstein, to be a watchmaker and, after John Juniker’s retirement in 1969, Ted Ravenstein with his wife, Betty, continued to build Juniker Jewelry into a successful family business. Eventually, Ted and Betty welcomed all four of their sons, Ronnie, John, Don and Dennis, into the family jewelry business.

In 1988, Juniker Jewelry opened a second location in Highland Village Shopping Center. Juniker Jewelry consolidated their two locations into one in Highland Village in 1990. Today, Ted Ravenstein has retired and Juniker Jewelry remains a family business under the direction of Betty, John and Don Ravenstein.

Juniker Jewelry continues its legacy making a positive impact on our local community through continued support of a wide variety of charities and local associations from the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi and Mississippi Symphony to the Junior League of Jackson’s Mistletoe Marketplace. Juniker Jewelry also continues it tradition of excellence in the jewelry industry always staying ahead of the industry in technology and education. Juniker Jewelry is the only jeweler in Jackson, Mississippi with an American Gem Society Certified Gemologist Appraiser on staff, as well as a Gemological Institute of America (GIA) Graduate Gemologist, and a GIA gemologist, to provide expert appraisal documentation and stone identification, as well as, an extensive knowledge and love of colored gemstones. Juniker Jewelry also offers expert jewelry repair and custom jewelry design with three full-time jewelers on staff using the latest repair technology available, a Laserstar Laser Welder.
